Since their debut in January this year, LNGSHOT has achieved excellent results on the KKBOX charts. They are currently the group with the most songs on the 2026 cumulative charts. Invited under the title of "Future Star" to participate in the KKBOX Music Awards in Taiwan for the first time on June 13th, we asked the members to share their thoughts.

OHYUL: First of all, thank you all so much for the love you’ve shown LNGSHOT. I didn't expect to receive this much support, and I feel truly honored. We will continue to work hard and strive to get even more songs onto the charts. Thank you, everyone!

RYUL: We’ve only been debuted for three months, yet fans have given us so much passion; my heart is full of gratitude. In the future, we will stay true to our original intentions and remain a group that works consistently hard.

WOOJIN: I feel extremely honored! Seeing how much everyone likes our songs is a great motivation for us and makes us want to do even better. We will continue to release many works in the future, so please look forward to them!

LOUIS: I’m very thankful to receive the "Future Star" award. I didn't think we’d achieve such great results in just three short months. We will treat this award as an expectation to "work even harder in the future" and give back to everyone twofold.

🎤 : This is the first time you've been invited to perform at the KKBOX Music Awards, and it's also the very first awards ceremony LNGSHOT will attend. What kind of preparations have you made for this concert in front of ten thousand people?

WOOJIN: It is truly such an honor! In order to present an even better stage in Taipei, we are currently preparing very hard.

OHYUL: We are grateful to the organizers for giving us this award. To become a group worthy of this honor, we will do our absolute best and continue to repay everyone with good music. We are discussing and practicing together every day to showcase each member’s individual charm.

RYUL: We are preparing with the goal of "enjoying the stage to the fullest together with the audience."

🎤 Has your boss and producer, Jay Park, given you any advice or guidance regarding your upcoming performance at the Taipei Arena?

WOOJIN: Our CEO said that communication is the most important thing, especially interaction and exchange with the live audience.

RYUL: He told us that as long as we show our true selves and enjoy the stage to the fullest, it will be fine.

🎤 What is the one phrase Jay Park most often "drums into your ears" (emphasizes)? During the training process, was there any encouragement he gave that was particularly unforgettable?

OHYUL: He most often tells us to "Stay humble." So, we always remind ourselves to be mindful of our words and actions and never forget our original intentions.

LOUIS: Manners first.

WOOJIN: He once said, "There is a reason why we all met." When we lack confidence, he is always by our side telling us to "Be a bit more confident

🎤 You will be visiting Taipei again on June 13th. Tell us about your impressions of Taipei! What delicacies do you most want to eat this time? Are there any scenic spots you want to visit?

LOUIS: Bubble tea!!!!

OHYUL: I visited Taipei once before for a fan-sign event. I think it’s a truly wonderful city with a different charm than Korea, and the food is delicious.

LOUIS: The weather was also very comfortable.

RYUL: Beef noodles are seriously super delicious!

WOOJIN: We also ate a ton of soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) back then!

OHYUL: It’s very "LNGSHOT style"—the deepest impressions are of the food. After all, we are a group that really loves to eat...
